How far do you travel?
We are based in Newcastle however are happy to travel all over the North East of England, and happy to discuss any enquiries if they are further afield.
We offer the first 50 miles of travel free and 50p a mile thereafter.
What do your bar staff wear?
All our staff come wearing a professional uniform, which is a white top and a brown bar apron.
What drinks do you serve?
We are fully licensed bar and provide an extensive range of drinks from lager, cider, wine, prosecco, cocktails, spritzes and premium spirits.
You'll find our standard menu consists of the most popular drinks but we are always happy to discuss anything additional you would like added!
Do you sell cocktails?
Yes we do! We sell a variety of handcrafted cocktails and spritzes.
How many guests are required?
We know that parties can be huge affairs, or intimate gatherings and because of this we will always consider every request.
We will tailor your package to your guest number, including the menu, the bartenders, and will consult you on this throughout the booking process.
How much does the bar hire cost?
This can vary from event to event but the booking fee starts from as little as £150. Each package we offer has a number of factors and every quote to our customers is unique. To make things easy for you our booking process is comprised of three elements.
1. A booking fee; this secures your date, the use of the fully stocked bar, bartenders and licensing.
2. Your drinks package if you would like one.
3. Lastly, depending on the location there may be a travel cost of 50p per mile if we travel for more than 50 miles.
Do you offer dry hire?
Yes we offer a dry hire, please get in touch for more details!
How much space will the bar need?
The Shake and Sip Bar needs a 2.5m x 4.5m to set up using our main serving hatch. If you want us to serve from both of our hatches we would require 2.5m x 5.5m.
We can also set up inside if your event is in a barn or large marquee big enough to accommodate us.
What about the legal stuff?
We take care of the legal stuff so you don't need to worry! If your venue isn't licensed to serve alcohol, your booking fee to secure the bar also includes the application cost for Temporary Event Notice in the relevant Local Authority!
